Yoga 4 Change Hosts First Ever ‘Live Virtual Art Show’
Yoga 4 Change (Y4C) is hosting the organization’s first ‘Live Virtual Art Show’ on Tuesday, June 30th at 7pm. The event will be live on the Yoga 4 Change YouTube Channel and will be filmed from one of Y4C’s long standing community partners: H2Om Float. The event will showcase one piece of artwork from 10 local Jacksonville artists.
Empowering Embodied Healing: Evidence Based Impacts of a Trauma-informed Yoga and Mindfulness Program
The entire world has been impacted by the pandemic, and humans are yearning for proven mental health resources to assist in increasing mood, decreasing stress and anxiety, and positively impacting the ability to fall, and stay asleep. Yoga 4 Change’s programming, although having had to pivot to a virtual environment, is one option for individuals living in the communities where the organization serves (i.e., North Florida, South Florida, Tampa Bay and Central Florida).
Yoga 4 Change Hires New Orlando Program Director
This month, Y4C is pleased to announce the organization’s new hire to make the sixth Executive Team member. Jamie Ambrosino has accepted the role of Director of Programs for the Orlando region.
June is for Doughnuts/Donuts!
The collaboration will take place throughout the entire month of June with the following shops and locations: Good Dough in Jacksonville starting June 10th, Mojo Donuts in Hollywood (Pembroke Pines location only) starting June 1st and Simply Done Donuts in Tampa starting June 1st. Each of the local businesses have committed to donating to Yoga 4 Change through sales from a specific doughnut on their menu or a specific package.
Yoga 4 Change Increases Local Partnerships during Pandemic
Yoga 4 Change has collaborated with multiple individuals and businesses in an effort to close the gap of uncertainty by encouraging community and teamwork. Examples of this include providing financial compensation to yoga teachers for YouTube content, partnership fundraisers with local businesses and collaborative social media sales with artists to positively impact the community as a whole, increase individual morale and help sustain employment.

Y4C’s First Fundraiser in Tampa Bay
TAMPA, FL – Yoga 4 Change will host their first fundraising event in the Tampa Bay area in collaboration with Kodawari Studios on Saturday, March 21st. The workshop-style event, titled ‘Chaturanga 4 Change’, will be taught by Yoga 4 Change teachers and will include a yoga flow with various breaks for rest and raffle giveaways.
