Meditation then brought me onto a spiritual path filled with gratitude, love, and acceptance. She choose to get involved with Yoga 4 Change because “I had known about Yoga 4 Change since its beginning. I was in the US Navy at that time and was unable to commit to anything with my schedule and a transfer on the horizon. I returned to Jacksonville in the Fall of 2019, retired, and ready to serve the community in some way related to yoga. In 2021, I attended a yoga class that had a Yoga 4 Change teacher in it to. After class she said “don’t you teach yoga? Can I give your name to Yoga 4 Change”? I said yes and the rest is history! I am grateful for this angel that was put in my path to direct me to the place I am meant to be!!!!! Yoga 4 Change has offered me the opportunity to feel purposeful again after my military service, to share with others this practice that has shifted my life in exponential ways, and to work once again with a team of professionals that care deeply about the purpose and mission of their organization. I LOVE Y4C!!!”
