YOGA 4 CHANGE RECEIVES FUNDING FROM HUMANA MILITARY

Program offers weekly classes to Active Military and Veterans across Florida

 

Yoga 4 Change is honored to have received funding from Humana Military to offer three new weekly yoga classes to active military, veterans, their families and support systems, across the state of Florida. Classes are offered in Key West, Tampa Bay and Jacksonville.

Yoga 4 Change has implemented a trauma-informed weekly class at each of the following locations to offer physical and mental health resources to the community. The Naval Air Station Key West class is offered on Tuesdays, MacDill Air Force Base is scheduled on Thursdays and the Tillie K. Fowler Park (across from NAS Jax) class is offered on Thursdays. Both Key West and Tampa classes are accessible to those with access on base only.  The class scheduled in Jacksonville is open to the public.  All classes are free of cost to participants. All details for the classes including times and location addresses are posted to the Yoga 4 Change website – y4c.org/events.
